*OUR HOUSE IN JERSEY* celebrates 1 year!

Well, it has been one year since the monkey ball competitions began. One year since Basil and Olivia started breaking various objects of all kinds. One year since Beth Ann drove a 26-ft (or maybe 28-ft?) truck 350 miles with fish all the way from Ra-cha-cha to Our House in Jersey. And it has been one year since we officially posted our first blog as husband, wife, and roomies. In celebration, we present the following:

oh, and also, a car on fire across the street. we didn't get the fire on tape, since it was scary and we were concerned. but we got the firemen cutting the trunk open.

We hope you have enjoyed this segment of weirdness. Beth Ann/Liz is presently doing her cross-country trip to Seattle with friends Heather and Sean, and when she returns, we are having a celebratory evening on Sept. 16th. All you faithful friends and readers are invited! If you need directions, let me know! Mark your calenders! I'll send out an obligatory email as well.

Hooray! Blogging is fun!

Congratulations.

Beth Ann should know that if her caravan breaks down in Quincy, WA, or Cashmere, WA, she will be in the territory where onkle Steve has contacts, and where Jonathan sorted onions for the Japanese market. Quincy is just characterless, but Cashmere is New England relocated. And Phoebe wanted her to know that Miles Thirkield is waiting to change a blown tire and that sort of thing in Ft. Collins, CO.

And what is the present corporate image of Wimpy's? I hear a strangled query. Or is Wimpy's still around? Was it long ago gobbled in a fast food fit of globalized corporate consumption?

Does anyone remember Smilin' Jack?

Street bands, the eyeball thing, the kitty that flushes ... I've wasted a lot of time being amused, and thank you.

Love the video :)
I know I complain about being inadequate with technology, but most of the communication parts are really great - you're on the other side of the world and I can still see what your kitchen looks like! Here's to another year...
